equipping and empowering every Catholic to be a missionary disciple

Your parish can be a 'parish on the move'; a community of communities reaching out to others and drawing them in. In love with Jesus in the Eucharist, empowered by the Holy Spirit and equipped through the Parish Evangelisation Cells System (PECS) your parish can become the evangelising community God has created it to be.

A Eucharistic
community

A parish that adores Jesus in the Eucharist, are nourished by Him; their source and summit.  He gives of Himself so that we may be transformed to be more like him equipping us for life and mission.

“It is possible for a parish to be a place of Christian discipleship, spiritual nourishment and joy”

“The worship of the Most Blessed Sacrament
is the spiritual 'environment' in which we
can celebrate Mass worthily and truly.”

“The Holy Spirit is our guide, leading us into all truth (John 16.13) and in truth we find freedom (John 8.32) and life in abundance (John 10.10)”

“The key is being 'rooted in prayer', being prepared to 'put out into the deep'.”

Filled with the
Holy Spirit

Cultivating a life directed towards the Holy Spirit creates an evangelising environment within the parish that leads to multiplication as parishioners grow in their God-given charisms.

Empowered to evangelise

Evangelisation is what the Church is all about and it is the responsibility of each member of the Church - not just our clergy and those in religious orders.

These cells have the potential to change the parish as Jesus is worshipped and adored in the Eucharist, parishioners continually seek the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and cells multiply across parish life as the desire for authentic faith is caught and lived out within your parish. The paradigm shift from maintenance to missionary parish is hinged on three pillars, or three sides of a triangle with each one feeding into the other, namely Eucharist (Mass and Eucharistic Adoration), Baptism of the Holy Spirit and Parish Evangelisation Cells.

Start The Journey Today

“The parish is not an outdated institution… it can assume different contours depending on the openness and missionary creativity of the pastor and the community… it is a community of communities, a sanctuary where the thirsty come to drink in the midst of their journey, and a centre of constant missionary outreach.”
